Ford 9 inch questions ???
I was wondering, does a Ford 9 inch have a higher parasitic loss than a 12 bolt? I have heard that 9 inch Fords sap power compared to the 12 bolt.
Is this correct?
also, which one is stronger and how much power can the Currie enterprises 9 inch handle? How much can a 12 bolt from moser handle?
Thanks

Yep, the 9 inch is not quite as efficient as the 12 bolt, but the extra pinion bearing on the 9 inch, makes it stronger. Also, with the 9 inch, you can setup a center section for the strip and a different one for the street. Swapping is ~45 minutes and requires no special setup! (After the intial center section setup of course.
