Well, I've decided to try to tough it out with my wc t5 instead of putting in the 6 spd. This being the case, I am a little nervous about the stability, obviously. I've already got a free spinning fifth gear, and this spring I'm swapping to the 3.73 gears. The guy I was going to buy the trans rebuild kit from said he can provide different ratios for my gears, as well as more "solid" gears. All he requires is what I want for ratios and what my tooth count is. How would you alter your power band in each gear to improve performance, and still keep fifth gear high to not rape the wallet? what is this "tooth count?" Thanks for any help:hail: :hail:
