SLP Zexel-Torsen posis on sale!!!!!

FYI guys, SLP take off posis on sale, $84.95 down from $99.95. These fit the 7.5"/7.625" 10 bolts and 28 spline axles. Pretty damn cheap upgrade for us peg-leggers.

i saw something on their site about that being for 89 and newer? i have an 84, but i know that the rear end has been replaced because their is yellow paint marker writing on it as if it came from a junk yard. How do i find out if that posi will fit mine or what do i have to do to make it fit?

You must pull and axle and count the splines. Every easy. Should only take you about half an hour to do. Your rear could probably use a fluid change anyway since rears are some of the least maintained items on the car.

I'm all set to order one... but I don't see the 28 spline axles on the website anymore.

If it has a stock rear end, then it will not fit your car. Only fits 90 and up, including some 89s.

Camrs89, there seems to be some debate as to exactly when GM switched over from 26 to 28 spline axles during the 89-90 run. You may just have to pull the damn thing off to count.

Update, I got my posi in yesterday....sweet...:lala:
