**T-56 swap question**

I have a question for anyone that has allready put a T-56 in their 3rd gen that does not have an electric speedometer.
My first question is...Can the T-56 be changed out to a mechanical drive speedo cable ?
If not then my second question is...How do you make the speedometer work if you have a cable driven unit in your car ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Chris.

The aftermarket T-56 is set up for both VSS and cable speedo drive.

Buy an electric speedo and problem is solved. You can just get all new gauges rather than pay $350 and still have the awful looking stock gauges. It is not that difficult to make the mods to get new gauges to fit. I just bought all autometer phantoms for my 89 and have had no problems.
