400 Out Of 350
i just go this today for xx.00 dollars and i am not believig it myself. what you cant see is the 153 tooth flywheel and used centerfarce clutch. i did a little searching but found nothing for sure-so-has anyone ever gouged out a MANUAL transmission flywheel (not flexplate-done it already)off of a 350 and attained the imbalance required for a 400? with or without mallory metal? is it cost effective? i am going to have the balance shop zero balance my clutch and whatever direction i decide about the flywheel-even if i buy a new one for a 400 it is getting balance matched to my flexplate anyhow, so if the rest of the gouging procedure is cheap enough, why not? :lala:
