V6 Tranny behind a V8?

What all is required to put a T-5 from a 2.8L '88 RS Maro into an 89 Bird 305TBI 700R4?

V8 bellhousing, V8 pressure plate, you need to have the hub from your V6 clutch disc put into a V8 disc because the V6 T5 has a 14 spline input shaft and the V8 has 26 splines. Oh and a V8 pressure plate. Ive talked to many people who have done this and are still driving like this. Ive got a LG4 305 w/ V6 T5 in my car now. Im expecting it to last for a while as long as I dont powershift or anything like that.

DON'T DO IT!

The gearing in the V6 tranny is much different. A friend of mine tried this and damn did it feel wickedly fast...but...it only last 4 hours before detonating.

Don't.

thats cuz the lower the gear (the higher the numerical number) the weaker its gonna be.........

i believe first gear for a V6 T5 is something like 3.75......!!!!!!!!!

To physically put it in Big Money Mike said it all.

I would add a prayer to the "after installation" list tho.
