swapping my T5 for an aftermarket T56 and have a few ???

As the title says I'm going to swap an aftermarket T56 in place of my factory T5 in my 91 Z. 1st question is can I purchase a lakewood bell for 84-92 camaro w/ hydraulic clutch PN 15020 and be able to fit a 168 tooth flywheel underneath it? I'm looking to install a 11inch clutch in the car if I could. 2nd question I'm looking to put an aluminum flywheel on the car and has anyone done this to thier car? How did it feel after the aluminum flywheel was installed? 3rd and final question will an aftermarket shifter for a 93-01 camaro T56 fit properly in my 91 Z with an aftermarket T56? Thanks

The Lakewood bellhousing will fit fine with a 168 tooth flywheel.

I don't know about the alum wheel though, I personally like a steel piece so I haven't looked into it.

I don't see any reason that the aftermarket shifter wouldn't work.

I called up Lakewood and they confirmed your response that indeed a 168 tooth flywheel will fit. But the rep was telling me that if I used a 11 inch clutch it would screw up the geometry of the hydraulic setup on my car with the factory clutch fork. This didn't make sense to me. What do you people think? Would an 11 inch clutch work just fine or not.

If the lakewood bell is for the 84-92's then how is the larger clutch going to change where the fork pivot is ? the center doesnt change just the OD ??? Only way i can see a problem is if it needs more travel to fully release ?

Thats what I thought racer. Does anyone know if an 11 inch clutch needs more travel than the factory 10.5 incher? Now I am swaying my decision towards the TKO due to durability, weight, and ease of installation. But I'd still like to go to an 11 inch clutch. Coach the tranny is coming out a my 91 Z28, but I will be holding on to it sorry.
