I got Richmond gears for $200 from summit. Plus you'll need an installation kit, about another $100.

i just had the richmonds set up in my car with the SLP take-off posi. supposedly 3.73s would put me out of my powerband but not really my car accelerates faster from 70 to 110 now then before and not just a little bit faster but a whole lot faster

The junkyard is a good place to pickup gears for cheap if you know what you are looking for and can spot possible damage. I paid $65 for 3.73's and the 3 series carrier for my rear. There is nothing wrong with used gears as long as they are setup correctly, they are just so much cheaper that it was hard to pass up. I have many friends who have used junkyard gears and many who buy new, they last about the same amount of time in our beefed up cars. One of my friends has had S-10 gears in his low 12 second car for 7 years. Good luck!!
