7.5 or 7.625 and 26 spline or 28 spline axles?

7.5 or 7.625 and 26 spline or 28 spline axles?
Ok let me get this stright, our car changed to 7.625 in 1985 right. And our axles change from 26 to 28 in 1990 right?

I think they both changed in the middle of 1990. The ring gear size (7.5 or 7.625) doesn't matter. The average person could not see the difference between the two and they both interchange with no modifications.

Yes the ring gear size increase was around 1985. The 28 spline axles are 1990 however there may be a few 1989's with 28 spline.
