Aftermarket T-56. Which shifter?

Does anybody know what shifter to buy for the aftermarket T-56.
You know the T-56 you can order from Spohn, Forte's or Scoggen Dickey? I know the shifter with no handle comes with it, but I want to buy a Pro 5.0 or B&M Ripper. Help!

I have the ripper and it is great. The only thing about it, is the handle is not removeable.

imho, the pro 5.0 is the way to go. I have used the ripper as well as the factory hurst setup and liked my pro 5.0 the best. The Hurst is by far the vaguest of the bunch and the ripper was just notchy compared to the smooth 5.0. Also, the 5.0 comes with like 2" of thread so you can cut it down to make it even shorter.

JeffT, I heard the pro 5.0 has a mechanism that helps you shift from second to third, think you can tell me if that even works like they say?

Tony, all the aftermarket shifters have this. All they do is spring load the shifter so that as it (the lever) comes out of second (or first for that matter) it wants to move to the neutral gate. This is supposed to help cut down on missed 2-3 shifts. Granted, some manufactures did a better job than others.

Thanks guys. I have a B&M Ripper on my T-5 now. Nice short throws. Does anybody know if this T-5 shifter fit my aftermarket T-56? I would hate to go and buy another one.
