My linkage feels all messed up, but its not loose. It's pretty sporadic and feels very grippy but its not in the right place. Do you think it's just a linkage problem? How can I tighten it/loosen? I'm completely helpless I know but ill try anything after hitting a big dead dog and almost loosing control when my car shifts down to first...on a nice wet rainy night. Also, you think it could have physically moved the placement of the transmision? before I pulled off to the side of the road it felt very strange.

Oh yeah, don't bother calling your local sheriffs department because they tell you to call animal control. Then you call animal control (after going through a few numbers) and they tell you they're on it and the local sheriffs station will be contacted immediately. LSFNION@$*(Y@Y
