Ford 9" Swap

Does anybody know how hard this would be. Do you know where I can find a article on swapping one into a 3rd gen?

You buy one from a supplier like Moser or Currie. It will have all the proper mounts and attachments to be a direct bolt it. A complete diff will be around $2000.

If you decide to bolt in some other type of production 9", you will have to move all the third gen mounts over to the new diff then find some way to attach or eliminate the torque arm.

Check out www.quickperformance.com alot of the guys we race with and the ones that just want the best, have him do their rears. Don't know about shipping (located near Ames, IA.) but bullet proof rears are very reasonable or he can make whatever you can afford.

you'll need a set of ladder bars unless you get one with the proper mounts and such. i am almost ready to put my 9" and i'm using ladder bars and coil over shocks.
