4 spd manual out of summit

i need a unbreakable tranny,ive went through 2 t-5 already,and workin on the 3rd one,i dont have the money for the 5 spd one,would i still be able to do 1-120 with this?i have factory gears,its my 84 z,or could i use my other rearend out of my 86 z that had a auto in it,and that tranny,what would you guys recommend?thanks for your time.

If you are referring to the Richmond 4 speed in the summit catalog, then no I don't believe that transmission will hold up to what you are planning. In your signature you mention plans for turbos and nitrous, the Richmond 4 speed will not have the torque capacity for that combination. The Richmond 4 & 5 speeds have a 450 ft.-lb. rating. Save your money and get something stronger. Look into getting a Jerico 4 or 5 speed, or a G-Force 4 or 5 speed.
