Anyone used Mcleod performance clutch w/T56?

I just got my T56 yesterday, and a stock LT1 flywheel. I've been reading a lot of good things about Mcleod clutches on here, but I wasn't sure if all the positive feedback about Mcleod was for the Street Twin only. Has anyone used the Mcleod performance disc with an LT4 pp? This is the clutch they list for use up to 7500 rpms, but I did not see any information regarding how much torque it would hold up to. Are there any better clutch/pp combo's in the ~$350 - $400 price range, or would a Centerforce dual friction for $540 be the best choice?

Thanks,
Shawn

ive got the performance mcleod disc that came with my T56, i havent had a chance to swap in the transmission yet but the clutch disc looks like it can give quite a bit of bite.

I'm running that McLeod disk but with a stock LT1 pressure plate, no complaints here and it should work even better with your LT4 pressure plate.

Only been able to smoke it drag racing by 'riding' it off the line at > 4000rpm while still learning to launch w/ the manual trans. I launch at 2500rpm now, dumping the clutch and going straight to WOT on drag radials that hook well. No smokeage.

On the road courses it has held up well also, no slippage even at Pocono North which has ~11 turns and uses 3-4-5 gears with lotsa shifting. At Nazareth I just left it in 4th the whole way around so no data there.
