i have an 89 gta with the 350 tpi engine. my steering is really loose and i can move it a lot from side to side without my wheels moving. how can i get my steering to be more sensitive and not have as much play to it.

 

first check all your rod ends and ball joints for wear or play, if they check out ok then the steering box may be worn. I believe there is a way to adjust the box to eliminate some of the slack, I think I saw this covered in a Haynes manual once, you might check there.
