Hey guys-

I noticed that my 700-R4 won't shift into overdrive. Also, I've noticed that all the shift points are way higher than they were before. I now get my shift occurring up at 3500-4000 RPM, where as before, they were occurring at 2000 or so. (This is under light load) This shift change has occurred at all RPMs. If i gas it hard, the shift is at a high RPM (as before), but with light pressure on the accelerator, I still get the high shift point (this is new).

The fluid level is normal, I topped it off to be sure. I still have the problem. So now what?

I fixed it. The TV cable must have been sticking. I worked it in and out a few times. I drove the car, and presto... it drove fine. *whew*
