How strong is the stock forth gen posi unit? What are it's weaknesses?

it can handle a stock 300hp motor, and ive seen it handle more. so id say its a decent posi unit. im running a 4th gen 3.42 posi rear end and it hooks great.

Have it behind my stroker, we'll see if it likes slicks and gobs of torque this weekend. So far I am very pleased with it. Its very inexpensive so buy 2 and forget about it. Good luck!!

I'm not sure what he means by retarded, but I am guessing he is. Call Slp and harass them they are backed up in shipping and are about a week behind. Really depending on how much you use your car I don't forsee any problem. Good luck!!
