Well at lower speeds it will be less off. You can figure it out using this simple formula:
Old gear ratio/New gear ration X speed speedo says
2.73/3.23*60MPH = 51 MPH
So that means when your speedo says 60 MPH your real speed will be 51 MPH
here are a few more:
2.73/3.23*20MPH =17 MPH
2.73/3.23*40MPH =34 MPH
2.73/3.23*80MPH =67.5 MPH
2.73/3.23*100MPH = 84.5 MPH
Old gear ratio/New gear ration X speed speedo says
2.73/3.23*60MPH = 51 MPH
So that means when your speedo says 60 MPH your real speed will be 51 MPH
here are a few more:
2.73/3.23*20MPH =17 MPH
2.73/3.23*40MPH =34 MPH
2.73/3.23*80MPH =67.5 MPH
2.73/3.23*100MPH = 84.5 MPH
Hi, I don't know if your wheels are 17's which mine are 45/245/17 I did this swap a while back from 2.73 to 3.23 and if your present gear combo is 17T/38T then you will need a driven gear 44T. But if you have 16's wheel then this won't help.
