Ok guys i was wondering if ne one could decode my rear axle number i cant find it ne where
the number is 6EV C327 1 The rear looks like it is out of a junkyard has the yellow marker all over it. I am in kind of a rush so ne one that can help i would really appreciate it. Also has ne one ever ordered the carriers off slp for 85 bucks if you did how were they i'm lookin in to it also ne one know about ne group purchase orders for gears. Thanks a lot ps does ne one know where i can get the speedo gear for the 700 when i do get the gears. Thanks a lot the car is an 89 Formula . thanks

also i just found out that i have 26 spline axles so if ne one knows where i could get 28 spline axles cheap or a posi carrier for 26 spline axles i would appreciate i am workin on the car as i type this. Thanks guys

Check ebay for the 26 posi, they're on there from time to time. 28 spline axles are about 245.00 shipped.

 

i got a book and it dont have 6ev it has 6ea it is a std 3.42 out of a 84 and 6ef and 6ep are 3.42 with posi but this is for camaro if its a firebird it might be the one u r looking for if u go to advanced and buy a book there in there

 

Screw a bunch of looking up numbers. Just pop the cover off and look. Who knows what's been changed out in there. It doesn't matter what numbers are on it, what counts is what's inside.
