I have a 92 camaro rs. 305 TBI, 700r4, stock 2.73 gears. I want to change to a 3.73 or 4.11 gear with posi carrier. Don't worry, I am building another engine right now. But I need to have the correct speedometer reading because I want to be able to drive on street also. I know I have a speed sensor in the tranny, so how do I get the speedo to read correctly. I heard something about reprogramming the ecm: if so, where can I get it done or can I get a kit to do it myself. I was also told that I would have to change the gears in the tranny itself. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
