3.73's??
3.73's??
Just tinkering with the Idea of buying 3.73's or 3.42's. Right now I've got 2.73's in the rear, and what I'm hoping for is a noticeablely improved off-the line acceleration. However, I'd still like to have decently low RPM's on the interstate what should I go for? Anyone have any unusual pros/cons of 3.73 vs 3.42 ?

With my 3:73s @70 I'm running about 2500rpms. 55@ 2000. I've got about 25.5in tires in the back.
One thing though, depending on the power band of your motor 3:73s might be a bad idea, I went from 2:73s to 3:73posi and didn't gain any time. I later found out that my cam stops making power past 3500rpms which 3:73s keep me way out of that range.
