Clunk Sound

For some reason when i back out of the throttle and let my car slow down, if i tap the gas or stomp it or anything my car makes a clunk and a little bit of a jerk. it's not my tranny i don't think i just had it rebuilt about 4 months ago

Any suggestions

Transmission: T-56
Axle/Gears: 3.70
check your drive shaft U-jonts. it might also be your carrier. i hadt to replace my carrier after a shop "said" they checked the fluid.
get it to a decent shop that does drive train.
my "thunk" was from carrier clutches being burned up. bad thing is , its a borg carrier they burned up. ahh well, all fixed now.
as grafx said check your trannt mount as well. start small then work from there.

carrier is another term for posi. if its a clutch type and the clutches are burned up it could poss cause your "thunk"
