Does 94 Caprice have 7.5" rear

Car: 91 Camaro RS Convertible

Engine: 385ci LT1 cnc ported heads big cam

Transmission: 4L60E automatic

Axle/Gears: 3.42 Zexel posi 7.5" rear

Does 94 Caprice have 7.5" rear

does the 94 Caprice have a 7.5 inch rear or the 8.5" rear. I would like to use one of the SLP Zexel OEM in one if it is a 7.5" rear.

Honestly, I would think they have a 8.5". But I'm just guessing.

They used a 7.625 and an 8.5, generally cars with the 4.3 engine
had the smalll one and 350 cars had the 8.5.

Thanks for the replies. Its a shame they aren't direct bolt-ins for our F-bodies. 8.5" rear has 30 spline axles and a larger ring gear to help keep from tearing up quite as often. Not NEAR as expensive as a 12 bolt or 9 bolt either. Well I will pass that info along.
