Hey fellas. I'm in the process of installing new seats, carpet etc and I need to know which shifter fits best in our stock IROC-Z Consoles...I like both short designs, the Quarterstick and the ProStick but all I ever see SPECIFICALLY for thirdgens are the B&M Hammer shifters. I can't stand the way those look personally but can anyone help me out? I've seen quartersticks installed in both Third and FourthGen cars and I definately need one and or just the right part numbers so I can order what is known to fit right...Thanks in advance

Will those work with OD trannies.

 

Have you looked into the Hurst Dual/Gate 2? Make sure you order it for a 3rd gen Camaro and it will fit great, custom made for our cars. It's the best looking auto shifter I could find.

 

Thanks guys. I guess the B&M ProStick is made specifically for a 700R4 as well as other trannies. They don't say if it's a 3 or 4 speed(od) shifter exactly but listed in the "Accessories" listing of stuff for that shifter, they list a 4 speed OD letter plate to fit along with it when used with an OD tranny. I'm lost. I'll call B&M and try to find someone who knows what they're selling

Dualgate? Why does it have 2 gates? It really doesn't look bad but I'm gonna try harder for the fullon race setup for now. Thanks for the pics!

The gate on the left is like the stock shifter, the gate on the right allows you to shift manually.

 

the base Prostick is a three speed. Just get a 4 speed gate plate and your set to go.
