well,i was up at my dads this weekend and on the way back down.i was cruisin along doin about 90-95 KPH when all of a sudden the car acted like it was in nuetral!it was in drive but i could rev up the engine!so i pulled over and stopped.checked all fluids,everything fine,tranny was still under there!I started cruisin again,but when i get up to 60 kph when it wants to go into 4th,the engine just revs up again!and it kinda started doin it in 3rd too.Did i break a shift band...or worse
So,ive got a TH700R4 auto trans on a 2.8L v-6.WHAT HAPPENED??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

 

....or worse, you have lost the 3-4 clutch pack. You probably only have 1st & 2nd gear? If that is all you have then the 3-4 clutch pack is history. Call me, or let me know if I can be of help?
