I see Jegs sells 700r4 tran. for around $1600.00 Has anyone ever got one of these? They claim good to 500 hp. I am rebuilding my car and should have about 350 hp if I go 383 stroker. Are any of these trans. from Jegs any good??

 

I installed in my dad's truck w/ a ZZ4 and a 2400 stall converter. So far no problems, but the truck has onlybeen driven about 5000 miles. They are local too me so that is why I went w/ them.

 

Or... you could geta hold of pro built automatics and get one of his for only 1395.00, i think. It will hold up to 550 hp and comes with a full year from the date of install. Thats is the street/strip version and from what I heard you won't be dissapointed.
