Code 33?
I was messing around with my car today and well I think maybe I messed something up or shorted something. Anyways what happens is this:
1) I cleared the trouble codes by taking the negative battery cable off, then checked to make sure the codes were cleared.
2) Started the car and the check engine light stayed on, then I turned off the car.
3) I restarted the car and the check engine light no longer stayed on and it went off like normal.
4) I checked the codes again and the code 33 is still stored but it is not turning the check engine light on, so I think everything is ok.
5) I repeated the whole process over to make sure the same results occured.
So the thing is, even though the check engine light no longer comes on, is this code stored a bad thing?

Where is the ECM fuse? I know there are two next to the battery, and then there is the fuse block. The thing is the codes are cleared by removing the negative battery cable. I checked after I had done that, and there were no codes. Before the code was thrown I know my roommate and my next door neighbor were using a multimeter on the connections of the harness to the MAF sensor. I thought maybe they pryed the connectors lose or pushed them out of contact. At first I had a code 34 then it went to code 33 when I pushed the contacts back. I have no clue, the light stays out now, but I don't know if that's good that the code 33 is still stored.

Nevermind, I found the ECM fuse. Somehow after playing with the wires and connections into the MAF and tightening up the connection for the MAF relay the codes disappeared and everything seems fine.
