I had stock ac delco , I think they were 7mm . I went to ACCEL 8mm wires , Universal fit . I cut them and made them myself . They have been on for almost 6 months now .I deffinetly think they will hold up better than the old crappy 7mm wires .But the true test will be next Jan when they have been on for a year ! . I can pick up an ac delco 7mm wire and then an Accel 8mm and you can feel how much better quality the 8mm accel is .But when you drive 2 hours a day with alot of heat , they just didnt last . Also get some heat sleeves for the #1 and #3 plugs to protect them from the EGR pipe . I ordered some Taylor heat sleeves from Summit for $8.00 . Heat sleeve part #s are listed below .
TAY-2523 Silver
TAY-2565 Blue
TAY-2561 Red

As for plugwires , I THINK , taylor has a lifetime warranty .I'll be honest with you about accel , I like them , but have heard people complain about them , I have a set of accel wires that are the wrong pair for my car and they are kinda crappy made , But if you get the universal pair of accel , you should be ok .MSD wires are good to .If you want to make your own set of wires , and don't know how , let me know and I will be happy to help .
