Starter ?

Starter ?

Is the starter from a auto six the same as a manual. Do the starters need to be shimed .

Starter? I don't even know her! (cough)

Are you changing your starter? You should be able to re-use the existing shim that's there. I'm not sure about a difference between a manual car's starter and an automatics. You could do a parts lookup at http://www.partsamerica.com or http://www.expressautoparts.com to see if the part #'s are the same.
