I think I may have a bad injector or two, and was curious what their lb/hr rating is. Anyone know of other GM(or even Ford)vehicles (other than 2.8 F-bodies) that use the same size injector? We might try a set from Pull-A-Part first before spending the $$$ on a new set. The engine has a few mods, but I doubt it needs a larger injector. I'm thinking probably around 19lbs/hr??? Anyone?

BTW, there is a fairly strong fuel smell in the oil (checked the dipstick)...the injectors were replaced about 3 years ago with new GM ones, does anyone think this could be caused by bad injectors or something else? Bad fuel pressure regulator maybe?

 

Well , its possible they could be bad . BUT , highly unlikey . a bad fuel pressure regulater can do that . And usually , I think it is one or two injectors which people think are bad when actually its a bad fuel pressure regulator .
