where's the fan switch?

Engine: 3.4
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42
where's the fan switch?
Anybody know where the switch for the fan is? I'm tempted to try bypassing it and mounting my own manual switch so it'll run cooler hopefully, but leave the original switch in too so it'll still come on in case I forget.
Actually has anyone even tried this? If so does it work alright?

It's at the rear of the right cylinder head.
