We should gather a list of all the items that work with and improve our 60 degree v6's. Put the part numbers and estiamted cost of the item.
Example:
Dynomax Cat Back Part Number XXXXX JC Whiteny 139.99
1988 IROC Z 28 Sway Bar Junk Yard Cost 20ish
1984 IROCS Z Wonder Bar 20 ish
MSD Coil Pat Number XXXX Summit Racing 39.99
I think this would be helpfull to all of us..I would post it on my web site if someone did it..

I also think that is a good idea, a good central place that everything would be listed. And where we could send new v6 people too when ask "How do i get more power out of my v6". Even though there will debates on some things on the list it would be good
3.4 #12537104 $1800, any local GM dealer
Find your 3.4, used, from a running 1993-1995 F-Body.
I just paid $900 (50K-1995 Camaro) for my 3.4 for my 85 Blazer.
Previously I paid $800 for a 44K 3.4 that's in my 85 Firebird.
Others, here, have paid less (one paid $150!)
Find these while ya can, low milage 3.4s getting harder every day to come by.
Start scouting around now.
It's the best tip I can pass along.

Or if you're scared to talk to a real live person, you can do searches at SummitRacing.Com. mrgasket.com and msdignition.com and holley.com and bmracing.com and energysuspension.com and federalmogul.com and partsamerica.com and knfilters.com and sa-motorsports.com and kyb.com and globalwest.net and classicindustries.com and 1aauto.com and flowmastermufflers.com and dynomax.com and (the list goes on! Search thru yahoo.com) ALL have online catalogs that you can search.
Why do you guys think I always have part #'s? Sure, some of 'em are memorized, but most of them are 10 clicks away. Hell, any of you remember the pre-internet days? When you had to call Summit Racing to find out if a part existed? Geez. And here we are with the internet, and people still can't find info. I'm not flaming anyone but it drives me nuts!
I just thought if there was a link on this site or on the top of the page saying something like top 20 V6 mods click here. We could gather the most command part’s and mods so anyone can refer to it or we can cut and paste it when someone asks what can I do to my 6 I am new to this. Just an idea.... No one was asking for anyone specific to do anything I just t hought we could gather the info and have something tangiable.

Okay, so you do a search (the button is on the upper right hand of this webpage, below the advertisement for "Fiberglass Spoilers"). Then you take the part #, and call Summit Racing at 800-230-3030, get the parts & price information department, and ask them for a price.

CHILL! gezzus on a biscut.
Yes the idea of having a page dedicated to the build-up of the V6 would be great, but noone has ever bought the idea. Hell if you want I can put it on my page with the header and other Info I plan to do sometime in the next couple weeks. Then when someone asks for the Info... Baam(Emril impersonation) it's all in one area.
