Need V6ers opinons on coils...

I have a set of Hotchkis Performance coils in my garage. They are for 82-92 F-Body. I was nervous that they would raise my car. I did some measuring and math and this is what I came out with. The Hotchkis Coils have a spring rate of 650 lbs per inch. The length of the front ones are 12 1/2 inches and the rear 14 inches. AS my car sits now with the stock coils, the coils are 9 1/2 inches front and 11 inches rear compressed. If you do the math with the Front and rear GVW and the spring rate, the weight of the car should lower the coils a bit more then 3 inches. Bringing the height to the norm or a hair bit lower. Plus, in a few months they should settle a bit. What do you all think, should I go ahead and try it or not? I might end up doing the work myself. Thanks for your advice all!!!

Front GVW: 1988
Rear GVW: 1989

the front will stay the same/raise and the rear will lower. The V6 has no weight comparison to the V8 in the front. The rear is the same.

The V6 springs have a lower spring rate.
