Cold Start Problem
Cold Start Problem
A few days ago, I went ahead and changed my plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. Now, for some reason, my car is difficult to start when it has been sitting for some time. I have a remote starter on the car and it doesn't matter if you start it with the remote or the key -- it still hesitates. It starts up like a champ when the engine is warm, or after it has just been started. FYI, I put it BOSCH plugs/Wires in along with a new cap and rotor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i was haveing that problem too, hes what i tried and it works!!!!
put the key into the ignition...
place into the "on" position without starting the car...
You will hear a loud hum....
Thats the fuel pump "priming the engine"
wait till that is finished.
Now try to start the engine.
Should start right up.
Hows that work?

Describe car *****?
Cold outside temp
Warm mornings?
Give clues?
Mine I need a new cap & rotor
Haven't changed it over two+ years.
Oh well. High spark realy overcomes alot!
BUT my cold morning starts.. it's rough, even after all I've done. Stalls one & twice, then loves it.
I'd still check hoses or under cap.
I know I had several more worn ones, cause of usage, that I thought were once good during my swap.
I even went so far as to separate my upper intake to get betyter view, access to suspicious hoses.
I did find several new ones.
That effor helped, too.
