Need alot of help!

OK heres the deal, I got a car for free( best kind eh!) cleaned it all up and its looks like it will make a good driver. except that when I try to start it, it won't start.it might semi-lug for about 3 sec. but thats it. So I tried to squirt some starting fulid into the plennum, it started and ran till the fluid burned out, so i'm assuming that the injecters are not poping off, How do i test this theory? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Thanks Krush

First step: Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see if it's even getting fuel before worrying about injectors. If you don't have one, buy one. I got mine for about $30 at Sears.

With the key ON, engine OFF, the fuel pump should max. out at about 42-44 psi, then settle around 37-40 psi.
