Upper and lower pleniums

Anyone ever polised their upper n lower plenium?? I am thinking about doing that rather then painting it. how hard is it, what all do I need?? I Plan on doing this while I put new valve covers n gaskets on it. Anything else I can upgrade while I'm doing this.

ahhh, and lots of time too i guess. will a die grider with a 160 grit drum in it work? Air powered? Should I switch out injectors, or anything else while I have this off. It looks like a pain to remove, so I wanna do it all at once.

I did mine a loong time ago, I really need to repolish it. I used lots of sanding rolls 180,400 grit. Then I used a da sander with 320 grit, then with cloth polishing wheels I finished it off. Oh and I made my custom emblem and welded it onto the plenum.
