CHD...Inside please..

Have you had a chance to play with that $88 TDF yet? What's your feedback?

Like I told you in that email I do not use Tuner Cat. I think its a waste of money when there are programs that can do the same thing for free. And you do not have to fork over more money just to get another TDF,(BIN) that can simply be downloaded fron DIYEFI.org.

Actually you didn't (I only receive two e-mails from you, one with the BIN and the other saying you had a 7730 ECM). I said in my e-mail "TunerCat is free for 30 days". I thought you wanted to test it?

In all honesty, I developed actual source code for my calibrations because I found WinBin too cumbersome. But I still prefer to use TunerCat to make "quick changes/tests" because my time is far more valuable.

I far prefer it's ease of use and "graphic" representation fo the Fuel and Spark tables, along with it's compare feature. Those "graphs" have come in hand MANY TIMES in spotting "typo errors". It shows up like a "spike or hole" immediately.

I am not trying to sell you (or others) TunerCat. I actually have nothing to do with the company beyond a "user" of their product. I definitely don't get paid. I am just expressing my opinion as a "happy" TunerCat user. I know a lot of people that like TunerCat because TC will investigate and ADD new features for users if the feature is available. With WinBin you either have to find it yourself and do it, or wait for someone else to do it.

Anyway, I thought you wanted to try TunerCat and see how their TDF looked. Guess I have you mistaken.

I was not tring to sound like an *** or anything, I just do care for it.
I have no reason to test the TDF or whatever untill I get the burning equip first. I have had that bin for at least 6 months now waiting to be used.
I have spent very little time messing with it even in winbin cause I really do not need to untill I get the burning stuff.

I assume you mean "don't care for it". I was hoping that you would have tried opening and using the program to see what the TDF could and could not do. That's all I wanted to know.

But you never said a thing about NOT using, or not liking TunerCat until this moment. Please reveiw your e-mails because I never received one saying that. But I got the feedback I was seeking. Thanks for your comments.

I will not bother you with any further "revisions" for the errors we already found.
