Hello guys!! im new here and from KY,
as i was driving in the bunnies..lol.. i see this gem in the fields..
91 firebird formula.. I stop and ask if the car was for sale and they
told me yes.. it was a sitting there for a few year, cuz a bad fuel pump!
and the owner was in jail.. but they had a clean title.
the car is super solid, the interior is clean, few cosmetic flaw, never been
hit, the top needs help, i look under the car and it has stainless steal exaust from cat back. and flow masters...well i dont know if i did good but i paid 900$ for it...black interior, sound system in trunk.
what you guys think?? input please..

 

AWESOME DEAL!!! looks good but you are gonna have to clean out the fuel tank! is it original? motor/tranny wise? i just picked up a 92 camaro with a lot of mods ( not all of my taste ) for 2250

 

yes!!!! is all original..i forgot it has 157k miles..

 

Good find! Great deal, but it's not a Formula. Sounds like it has a V8 though, which is good.

you and have I the same car I have never seen a 91 formula convertible before a forumla is a base model it has no body kit and no fog lights that I know of

Today i lift it to replace the fuel pump, and the car
Is super solid...i was happy about that.
The car start and run for 5scn and turn off..

WOW!! 900 BUCKS and you don't have to go to jail but you definately STOLE that car. GREAT FIND!! all due to a bad fuel pump. I owe several thousand to a couple of bolts falling out of the trans mount on my Iroc.

Man....so happy...yay...it was a little pain in the ***!!!!! Lol.
But took the tank out...once i pull the fuel pump.assy..
I find out that the the hose that connects the pump to the
Pick up tube was loose and the psi was getting lost...
I had it out..anyways, so i inst the new one..put back together
And ohhh yes!!!! Purr like a kitty...eng sound strong, and with
The cat back flow Master exhaust sounds real good.

Guys!!!! good news for me!!! Today i pick up a 90 gta,TPI,5spd,disc rear posi
T/top, 147k, induction hood, headers,digital dash, car was hit in front but they was
Fixing it, the interior is beige leather but ruff!!!
Anyways, i got it for 800$ cuz ig won't start!!! Did not wanted to try in front of the owner
So we push the car on the trailer, and i left went to a gas station, try to started it, pump runs, all lights in dash..but no crank...so maybe just a starter...
Next week ill start swapping the rear,5spd,pedals,wheels...and then later the TPI.
I will put the car for parts also....pix in a few.....YAY...me...lol.

 

 

Yesterday i swap the wheels, and got the rear out..to be swap.
I inst a new module and it started om half of crank!!! Runs excellent.
Digital dash works perfect.... Can wait to swap it all..
