Buick 2.8...HELP ON MOTOR SWAP

hello again, i have come across another camaro a 89 rs like the one in my sig (but black and without a cool z28 hood )the motor is shot, blew sky high, water shooting from block, and its not a freeze plug, cracked ,manifold ect. ect. but the fuel injection seems to still be intact. mi have found a late 80's buick sentra or something like that with a 2.8l v6 for a good price that runs..will the 2.8 out of the buick work in my f-body? also what motors will work (3.1,3.4,3.8? ect. ect.)

ps: i just finished my iroc taking it to the strip soon

Car: 1995 Z28
Engine: LT1
Transmission: Built 4L60E
Axle/Gears: 3.23's - Limited Slip
Front wheel drive 2.8's 3.1's 3.4 etc will not fit in our F-body's (well they will but are not worth the time and effort)

If this camaro needs another 2.8 the best bet is to get a 3.4 and read Keds 3.4 boogie, or find an S-10 and get the 2.8 from it.

Car: 85' Firebird (Project), 92' RS
Engine: 2.8L, LS1
Transmission: 700R4, 4L60E
Axle/Gears: 3.42 Open , 10 Bolt (ukn)
hell yes i'd go with the formula too, infact i'd still take the formula over the v6 any day of the week. The only real reason behind it isn't so much that the car will provide so much "incredible" performance over that v6 in a factory form, but it'd be less work swapping in a performance v8 later down the road, such as a 350, 383, or even an LT1 or LS1......any of those blocks would make the formula run good, and for a much less price than the six banger firebird.....even trying to get the six to run with a LT1 equipped 3rd gen is near impossible.
