Here she is, a Formula hood off of an early 80's 'Bird....it's off again now for painting, but I had to see what it would look like with a quick fit. Enjoy!

i was never a big fan of those hoods, they remind me of those hoods on the eclipses. but that last pic looks kick a$$

 

i want to put one of those on a 85-90 t/a whenever i get one...

 

I was hoping to see a carbon fiber hood j/k, I'm assuming your old one got damaged. Looks clean. So wheres the red light at in the grill??

Yea, I use to :hail: to kitt when that was a popular show, I thought that was the $#!T. But I was just trying to have some fun, sorry if I ticked ya off.

 

lol, my friend said it would be "cool" to mount a bass light in there...I half believed him...

I was thinking, if one had a KITT clone and was driving around town with the red light scrolling, would one get pulled over? Or would the cops just let you go and think its cool ???

 

Would depend on the cop I guess

 

I have the KITT light in my lower GFX. not a KITT clone, but still cool.

I have only had one prob with the cops. He pulled me over cause my front turn signals were red. The KITT light was not on, but he told me I could no have it on the car. I was like whatever, its not on. No ticket, but I got the front gfx piece from a junkyard and cut it and installed it inside the GFX. Now I only tuen it on at shows. I would think the cops would leave you alone for the most part if they watched the show as a kid.

You can see it lit up in the pic. I had the shutter speed slowed down, so it looks like a long red bar, sorry.
