my gas guage is not very accurate, when i floor it the guage goes up, and when i brake it goes down, same thing with hills, i think up a hill i get more gas, and down it shows less, anyone have one like this and can it be fixed?

thats normal , unless its bigtime moveing . Lets say if you have a full tank and when you break it shoots all the way to empty , thats not normal , something is wrong . It should move down a little when you break . Your gas is moving around in the tank . I wish this damn fly would quit swarming on my screen while Im trying to type this !

yeah shes extreme all right, she can go for reading full to reading nothing, when i have probably half a tank, could it be caused by a hole in the float?

Could be the float is stuck. Or a poor ground on the wire that runs the guage itself. mine use to read hard full cause of a poor ground. If I ran the tank low enough the float would stick and read hard empty.
