Oh, okay, thanks Wayne! Yeah, I've done it too... not so much with the rear tires I have now (P275/60r15 = huge), though. And I also have an automatic. Can't do a burnout? Search for my major tuneup in this forum (search is at upper right of this screen), do the major tuneup, and you should be able to.

you should definately be able to a burn out. especially in your 92 since it has a 3.1. Since all my mods, I have done massive brake stands here and there....even with 4 people in the car and 235's out back.

I was just teasing but since your a race pro I would expect a little more.

you dont even know its called a burn out, or is it the pros at your track call it whitesmoke????

if you know so much about racing and know all the people at the track why are you asking us these questioins??? i feel so unworthy.

sounds kinda hookey.

but its ok, if you just want someone to talk to.

But the question sounds kinda hookey with a nick like that and now even more since your a race track pro but some reason you dont know its called a burn out.

I would expect you would know the proper name spending your life at the race track and everyone knowing your name.....

The next time you and john force are chatting......

No, the back rims are 15x8's, the front's are 15x7's (with P225/60r15 shoes). The rims are American Racing AR46's, the tires are BFGoodrich. The sidewall isn't that bubbly. You should've seen my old P255/70r15's on the original 15x7 rims! That was a bubble tire!

92RS, Ill have to give you a shout next time I go to Raceway park for a 1/4 mile run. Looks like it might be next year, don't know if I want to run the car with this dying trans.

It's been dying; it's acted up ever since I got it back... here's an old message about it: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=48469 Amazingly, the trans is still running- but I know it's days are numbered. I'm hoping to rebuild the trans after welding in a new 1/4 panel- then it'll be rebuilding the engine. Aw crap and I still have to rebuild that 3.73/posi/disc again. Too much rebuilding, too little time, where the frig did the summer go?!?

92RSMuscle, we'll be @ Etown on 8/17 for the GM Civil War (F-Bodies VS other GM cars) event if you want to race with a bunch of 6'ers.
