I know , isnt that one of the most ridiculous things you have ever seen ? After about a year I got my car , I had my thermastat changed . At the time I had NO mechanical knowledge at all about cars .I called a shop and asked how much they would charge to change it , I dont remember what it was but it was not much . When I went and picked it up from the shop , the told me we had no ideau you that that type of thermastat location or we would have charged you more , that thing was a pita to change . Its not that bad to me , but they could have picked a much better place .

Yea, I thought my dakota was bad that you had to take the belt off, losen the alt, rotate it out the way. Damn, here you just have to start removing crap. Luckly I swiched mine while I was painting the plenium, and changing valve covers. So all that #^@#&^@ was out of the way then
