Couple of things:

Anyone add new LCA's to their cars. I am looking into it and wanted some feed back.. I am looking for better handling until I get money to really do some engine work.

Does anyone know what size sway bar an 86 Z has?

My wipers do not go up or down.. They go inch then back down... Any ideas? Before this occured I noticed low would no longer work, then it had to always be on HIGH, then not even high works, just that 1 inch movement thing I get.

Rear main seal? Anyone do it yourself in your garage or is this someting a shop should do?

Sounds like the wiper motor might be burnt out; have you taken the motor out? My wipers stopped one day in the snow, luckily I was 150 feet from my house; made it inside. The wipers wouldn't start up again. I figured they were frozen; next day, I tried the wipers again- nothing. So I removed and disassembled the motor, cleaned the brushes, put it back together, and the silly thing has worked perfectly since then- and that was in January of '96!

A rear main looks like a pain in the butt... especially with dropping the trans. Did it blow out?

if the RMS isnt that bad yet, wait until you need to drop your trans and do both at once

if your not a pro, i would only attempt this if its a 1 piece

i believe for a 2 piece you need to remove the motor and then the crank and mains

for the one piece you pry it out (using a screwdriver VERY carefully, or the proper Kent-Moore tool) then use the old RMS and place it against the new one..........work it in with a hammer VERY carefully OR the proper tool (which i know exists)
