uhhh, i dont eman to be the bringer of bad news, but think about it before you get the 83 with cross fire injection...cfi was the worst induction system gm ever made. it was only in production for 2 years i believe because of all the problems they had with it. inm the winter, the injectors would freeze up very easily and theres not a good aftermarket responce to cfi. so if your hoping to do modifications to your car, i would wait for a tpi or a trusty lg4 (carb) or perhaps even the mighty lo3 (tbi)

i've read all the dislike info i need to on the cfi
but.. its now mine and i love it all the same. besides pulling some performance out of it is a challenge i like.
oh and read the last 2 posts on the badest cfi in the tbi board.
