MSD 6A Questions

I do not know too much about the MSD 6A.
I was thinking about buying one on E-bay. I was wondering if they have different setups for carb VS FI or anything? I just want to know before I score one off of ebay.

Me personaly i noticed the bigest improvment was by getting powerpullys and juse using the crank, IT increased my gas milaged by about 50-80 miles per tank and made a noticeable difference i think is the best mod you can do after the CAI.

I was just going to get a 6A off E-bay if it was cheap enough some time.
Where did you get the power pulleys? What was the price?

I've gone thru two ignition setups.. first was "just" an Accel coil ("remote computerized hei coil"). Next was the MSD 6AL box and a new Blaster SS coil. I didn't notice any big performance increase by going to the MSD combination. I think if you're going for cheap, just by getting an aftermarket coil, you'll do the best. Save the 6-series box for a later mod- unless you're getting it for a really awesome price!
