Finally got my Drivers License!

Today I went for my road test, I had to take my sisters honda civic lol. I got 7 marks off, 9 is a pass, 10 is a fail. I got 5 marks off for not pulling to the right far enough when making a right hand turn, and 2 because on my paralell park; I shoulda stayed closer to the meter, but I pulled up a bit.

I am so happy. I have waited 1 1/2 years to drive my bird. It was like teasing a baby with candy lol.

Tech Data:
I and my dad did a tune-up; Plugs, Wires, Cap and Rotor. It had a mis before, but now it seems to be running smooth. 600-700rpm when idleing.
0-60 time is 9 - 10 secs... is that good for a v6? I also have my sub box in the well 80~lbs.

Another tech related thing:

My back end bottems out sometimes cause of my sub box. Do I need new springs or shocks?

Thanks.

Off the go cruisin.

CONGRATS my friend! you treat your baby well, and she'll outperform all those canadian ricers out there! (well, quite a few of them at any rate

i know you've prolly heard all the advice in the world from your elders, but i'm only 2 years your senior, and i've been driving a GRAND total of 1 1/2 years. take it from someone who managed to total their first car not once but TWICE, take it easy!
no need to impress all of us for a while with kill stories, etc. yet ! wait a few on it, and don't rag your car until you 1. have the cash to get another one immediately, should you crash (heaven 4bid) or 2. get good enough to know your driving "self". i'm still learning "how i drive", there's no time limit to learning how to drive, even though you have your lisence, you're still learning, believe me!
(look up montgomery county MD online, you'll see WHY i'm still learning to drive = we have one of the highest accident rates in the States......why? cuz everyone sux at driving around here ROYALLY)

ROOTIN FOR YA IN MD! :lala:

p.s., i'll assume you have an automatic? in which case your 9-10 s. for stock is pretty normal, expecially since you've got the Xtra weight in the back. i've got 2 10"s+amp, and i haven't noticed any diff. in my pickup (vs. when i didn't have them). i've got a stick though, & the 3.1, so i'm just comparing that to my b/f's v6 he had. (1984 POS that DIED, your time is better than his lol)
