GREAT ADVICE,but...

...after I flush the system as previously stated, what is the best stuff to use on the engine block drain plug threads to install back on the block without leaking?And....does anyone know the angle of PVC pipe coming off the throttle body to angle towards the air filter housing( ie..45*,60*...).Thakns guys.:hail:

the best stuff to put on the threads is "permatex" I think it goes by another name. It comes in a white small container with a siliver cover. It's brown and sticks to everything LOL. You can also just put the engine plug back in dry. IT"S tapered pipe thread that seals like a pipe. RTV is ok but kind of thick.

if it's that indian head gasket shellac, it's in a brown container, & the cap is also part of the goop handle/applicator. Stuff also makes a good radiator repair
