Noise reduction
Q: I currently have the back interior panels off being redone. For sound deadoning, is undercoating good, or maybe the brush on truck bed coating? I'm not running a killer radio outfit, but decreasing road/other people noise will help out
I'm trying not to have to use Dynomat.

I found that the spray on "rubberized" undercoating does not deaden the sound very well. I am not sure how well the brush on truck liner works. I suggest trying to get some used/cheap carpet foam for houses, and glue in their. Sounds ghetto, but will prob help better then the undercoating on sound dampning.

Redraif used a lot of Duplicolor Sound Proofing (aerosol), and it works great. Its like a thick undercoating, but it insulates a lot better than undercoating . You can get it at AutoZone. Its inside her doors, quarters, on the floorpan, underneath...everywhere. Gluing subwoofer carpet to the backs of all your panels helps too. Her system isn't super powerful, but the sound is a lot cleaner without all the vibration.
