T-Stat Removal??

Do I really have to take part of the throttle body off to get this POS off? Looks like it's stuck closed and I can't see any other way to remove it.

I think TomP said that if you use some swivels, extension, & the right size socket, it can be done w/o taking the tb off.

I took it off anyway - you wouldn't BELIEVE the gunk in that t/b! Clean it all out, while you're there.

When I did mine it was always easier to remove the throttle body.. Then you can clean it real nice.. It also helps to removethe upper plenum and clean that too...
